inQuest® « Adventure and team spirit »
1) Object
The purpose of the following document is to manage the contractual relationship between the customer and the IQ CONCEPT S.A.S. Corporation, on the occasion of the booking and the participation to an activity inside the INQUEST® leisure complex and the execution of the services proposed on the website and presented in the various booklets.
The IQ CONCEPT S.A.S. company is of course the only point of contact for any claim concerning the explanation or the execution of our services.
2) Definition of the activity
INQUEST® is an adventure leisure indoor concept (indoor leisure complexes) created, developed and ran by the IQ CONCEPT S.A.S. corporation, registered in the RCS (French Trade and Company Register) of LILLE (France) under the number 482 517 752, the head office of which is located at - 31 rue Alfred de Musset, VILLENEUVE D’ASCQ (59650) France.

INQUEST®, KEYMAZE®, SPEEDSPOT®, KNOWZONE® and WINGWAY® are registered trademarks which are duly operated under license.
The INQUEST® concept is a unique creation and many of the constitutive elements are protected and have been registered by Maître Callens Huissier (similar to bailiff) à Roubaix (59).
3) Conformity and safety
The whole of the equipment and materials installed and used as part of the INQUEST® adventure game comply with the current safety and use standards. According to these standards IQ CONCEPT S.A.S. has received the appropriate administrative authorizations. The management of IQ CONCEPT S.A.S. calls upon the services of an independent and certified control office, to regularly control the whole of the equipment. Individual protection equipment (IPE) is subjected to traceability and thorough regular control. Besides, a precise methodology of internal controls is applied on the whole game site, it is set and performed daily, weekly and monthly, by the employees in charge of maintenance (daily checking before opening, complete weekly check, monthly analysis, annual visit…)
4) Practice and participation conditions :
The participation to the INQUEST® adventure implies that each player observes the safety regulations conveyed by employees and specified on the notice boards as well as the conditions described in the present document.
INQUEST® is an adventure game which requires physical and intellectual aptitudes.
The access to the game is forbidden to people under 12 years old and/or under 1m50/4’11 tall.
CAUTION: Specific rules for the 12/13 year old children:
DUTY for an adult to be present in each team that includes 12/13 year old children.
The accompanying adult(s) must help the children in the games; they must supervise them and read to them the safety instructions posted up inside the INQUEST complex.
They must convey those rules to the rest of the team and make sure they are observed. They have to make sure the members of the team stay together in order to fully enjoy the INQUEST adventure game.
The participation to this game requires a good physical condition which involves:
Not being under any medical treatment which can affect the physical capacities.
Not being pregnant or have given birth in the last 6 months (refer to the indications of your doctor in this case)
Not suffering from heart problems or weaknesses in the joints (ankles, knees, tendonitis, ligaments, etc…)
Being well aware of one’s own abilities and physical limits (in case of important overweight, you might not be allowed to use some games or courses for your own safety.
Not suffer from vertigo nor claustrophobia; Not suffer from asthma or epilepsy.
CAUTION: in case of excessive alcohol consumption, access to the game will be refused.
It is really important to always observe the rules, regulations and instructions written and or oral, displayed or given by INQUEST® employees, and to show carefulness and wisdom in your moves in the different “worlds” and in relation to other players.
Since you move about in an autonomous way, you have to keep an eye on everyone in your team.
Within the game you are allowed to stop at any time and if necessary you can call an INQUEST employee through the terminal at your disposal.
Minors who participate in the INQUEST® adventure are under the responsibility of the adults who come with them, and have been informed of the practice conditions and general rules by the accompanying person. On the occasion of a non–accompanied practice (a play of the game), the parents or legal tutors will be held responsible.
The INQUEST® staff is at your disposal to inform you on upon simple request, of any further explanation, information, in addition to the information already available on the brochures and on the INQUEST® website.
5) Evolution of the brochures, prices, opening hours and services:
It is explicitly defined that the information featured in the brochures and on the website www.inquest.fr, can be modified, deleted or replaced at any time without any notification, without having to give any reasons for it.
The description of the places and services associated are those known at the time of printing and creation of the brochures. This information is subjected to modification. It is up to the customer to do the necessary steps to know the current prices and conditions.
The organization, the content and the rules of the INQUEST® game can be modified at any time according to the way the concept evolves, and according to the choices and strategies developed by IQ CONCEPT S.A.S.
6) Bookings and booking confirmation:
A - Individuals:
For individual customers from 2 to 10 people, the INQUEST® missions’ bookings are not mandatory, nevertheless they are highly recommended. In case of non-booking, the access to the INQUEST® equipment and premises might be refused due to an excess number of visitors when maximal capacity is reached; because of the booking of the whole Inquest site by other customers; for maintenance reasons or because of a change of opening hours.
On the occasion of a more than 10 people coming, and for specific groups (companies, schools, social centres, associations, clubs): pre-booking is compulsory.
Booking can be done via the website: www.inquest.fr or by phone at 00 33 (0)3 20 05 8000 according to the number of persons and the services you ask for. You can also book your mission on site during and according to availability.
Personalized quotation is available upon simple request; it is also possible to obtain a personalized quotation for combined services (catering, game, gifts, bar, customization of the game, photo coverage).
B - Specificities:
⎫ Companies/Works councils/schools/associations, clubs...:
For the coming of groups, other than a group of individuals, the pre-booking will be compulsory and will be effective immediately after acceptation and sending of a signed quotation « form agreement »/”signed and accepted for” document by the services in charge of the organization of this outing. The signed quotation has to be sent at least 8 days before the date of the event. The quotation must also specify the definitive number of persons coming for this event (game, catering, drinks, etc.). These estimates will be the basis to calculate the bill which will be sent to you.
Caution: in case of modification of the number of people that will attend the game and other services, the client must inform Inquest at least 5 days before the event is taking place. If this rule is not observed, the bill will comply with the terms and quantities specified in the signed quotation.
⎫ Recreation centres/social centres:
For recreation centres or social centres outings, it will be necessary to receive from the town council a “commitment form” corresponding to the total amount (including V.A.T), of the service provided. The commitment form must be signed and sent at least 8 days before the event takes place. It must include the name and address of the town council, the name of the person in charge of the booking, the date and time of the coming, the number of persons participating and accompanying for each INQUEST® mission, and the total price with taxes included.
In case of modification of the number of people participating without notice, the bill will comply with the number indicated on the commitment form or on the accepted estimate.
7) Public price, special prices and advantages
Prices and opening hours available on the brochure and on the website can also be found at the reception desk.

Those prices and opening hours can be modified at any time without notice from the management of IQ CONCEPT S.A.S.
The INQUEST® management doesn’t give any credit .All the tickets as well as drinks and food have to be paid beforehand at the cash desk located in the entrance hall, before any participation to the game (except for specific groups) Proof of discounted price(s) has to be shown at the reception desk on the day of the outing (ex: students prices = a valid student card has to be shown).
When collective tickets are purchased by a works council the access of the game is allowed only for an individual practice, for the members of the works council and their relatives. It is forbidden to exchange or sell those tickets, it is forbidden to use those tickets to finance (organize) a seminar or a professional outing. They have to be given at the front desk for an entrance ticket. No “ticket credit” will be granted; those tickets are numbered and have an expiry date.
.The INQUEST® management can refuse to accept these tickets in case of non-respect of the rules and regulations.
8) Discipline and behavior whithin the game
The INQUEST® adventure game requires observing the general rules, the safety regulations and an appropriate behaviour.
The general rules and safety regulations are explained by the INQUEST® staff and are displayed on descriptive boards that you must read.
The players go through different games and courses at their own pace and in an independent way. In this respect, they are the only one able to assess their ability to cross the obstacles installed within INQUEST® and are the only persons responsible for their own safety and the safety of others .The use of the equipment elements put at the players’ disposal must be done in observance of the rules and regulations defined during the explanation which will be provided before the game and before the different courses (i.e. the use of harnesses, lifelines, trolleys, maximum number of people per area, etc.)
The IQ CONCEPT S.A.S. cannot be held responsible for the misuse of the equipment provided.
The INQUEST® management holds the right to ban any individual player or team member which will not respect the discipline rules and safety regulations, or who engages himself/herself in activities which can impede the other players to have a normal practice.
No refund of the entrance ticket will be provided in case of a banning or in case of renunciation by the customers before the end of the game, and this regardless of the reasons.
9) Intellectual property:
The client doesn’t acquire any property rights or using rights and won’t be allowed to use any signs, names logo, trademarks and other signs such as artistic, intellectual, industrial property rights held by IQ CONCEPT S.A.S without any specific prior authorization.
10) Force majeure :
The INQUEST® management holds the right to cancel any bookings if any force majeure events occur, the following list is non-exhaustive: strikes, fire, water damages, access impossibility etc… In this assumption, IQ CONCEPT S.A.S. would not be held responsible and will offer another coming date to their customers.
11) Insurance:
Customers civil liability:
The IQ CONCEPT S.A.S. Corporation declines any responsibility for the damages of any nature (stealing) likely to affect personal items brought by the customers.
The IQ CONCEPT S.A.S. Corporation declines any responsibility in case of a car break-in, or vandalism on the cars parked in the parking places.
. Each visitor is responsible for any damages, direct or not that he/she will cause during his visit on the INQUEST® site.
Professional civil liability:
The IQ CONCEPT S.A.S. corporation holds a Professional civil liability insurance policy subscribed to ’AXA France IARD’. The contract subscribed holds number 3016420404. It guarantees the consequences of the professional civil liability which can lie with IQ CONCEPT S.A.S. in consequence of physical, material and immaterial damages caused to its customers or third party following a mistake or carelessness noticed during its professional activities.
12) Complaints and clause conferring jurisdiction:
The complaints following a disagreement regarding the execution modalities of the offer must be done in writing and sent to the reception service of INQUEST® : 31 rue Alfred de Musset, 59650 Villeneuve d’Ascq France.
In case of dispute, protest on the explanation or execution of the present stipulations, le Tribunal de commerce de Lille, France will have the exclusive ability to deal with the matter, in the absence of amicable settlement between the parties.
